The Henri Nannen Award was established by Gruner + Jahr and its weekly magazine stern to encourage quality journalism in German-speaking countries and to keep the memory of the 1996 deceased stern-founder Henri Nannen alive. Gruner + Jahr commissioned us with the concept, the design and technical implementation of the new website for the Henri Nannen Price. Working closely with the Corporate Communications of the publishing house, we developed a custom-made concept, according to the special requirements. The main task here was to make sure, that the journalistic contributions and their authors get a corresponding amount of space on the new website. In addition, the design of the website should appear fresh and modern and look more like a magazine.

Meanwhile, we developed two basic templates – one for the homepage and one for all subpages.  With different combinations of these modules and templates we are able to display all kinds of contents.
